Star Festival

July 7 is one of five season-related celebrations, 1/1, 3/3, 5/5, 7/7, 9/9, 11/11.
1/1 and 5/5 are only national holiday now.

But we celebrate start festival.

It is told that legendary once-a-year rendezvous of two stars in the Milky way
It turns a wish comes true. So we write a wish on a strip of paper and hung it on the decollated bamboo tree.

There are many Tanabata festivals in various places.

Sendai, Hiratsuka, Anjyo and Ichinomiya.
If you have a chance, it is a good experience of Japanese culture.
